Mission Statement: The Ohio Homemakers and Community Education is comprised of volunteers working together with Ohio State University Extension to strengthen individuals, families, and communities through education, leadership development, and social interaction.

Ohio Homemakers and Community Education is a recognized, respected organization that exercises a positive influence in strengthening families and individuals through education to become productive, happy members of their communities.

- Set up the Auglaize County Homemakers and Community Education Fair Booth, Fruit Hall, Auglaize County Fairgrounds
- August 5 (1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
- Homemaker's Day at the Fair, Junior Fair Building (air conditioned). We are excited about this year's programs which include:
- 1:00 p.m. - How to Protect Yourself - A representative of the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office
- 2:00 p.m. - Safe Driving Tips - Tom Brookhart, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Wapakoneta Post
- 3:00 p.m. - Massage - Andy Carter, Licensed in Massage Therapy by the Ohio State Medical Board

- Homemaker's Council Meeting, OSU Extension, Auglaize County, 208 S. Blackhoof Street, Wapakoneta
- August 31 - 1:30 p.m.
- Long Term Care Leader Training Lesson, OSU Extension, Auglaize County, 208 S. Blackhoof Street, Wapakoneta. Any group or organization willing to share this information with its members is welcome to attend.
- October 6 (10:30 a.m.)
- Tour of the Auglaize County Historical Society's St. Marys Museum, 223 S. Main St., St. Marys, Ohio at 10:30 a.m. There is no charge for the tour, however, doantions are accepted. We will then enjoy eating lunch at the Lost in the 50s Diner, 1533 Celina Road, St. Marys at 11:30 a.m. Please feel free to bring guests.
