All livestock entries, including showmanship sign up, will be done as part of FairEntry online in 2021. Entries will be due July 1. Entries after July 1 will be handled as follows:
If entries are submitted between July 2 and July 8, there will be a $10.00 cash late fee per entry, regardless of reasons or lateness. If entries are submitted between July 9 and July 16, the late fee is $25.00 cash per entry, regardless of reason or lateness. NO entries will be accepted after July 16 for any reason. This rule applies to showmanship entries also. Late entries will not be official until the fine is paid in full in cash. Late entry fee information will be submitted to the Junior Fair Board along with the cash fee.
A few key points:
1. Go the FairEntry.com, and locate the Auglaize County Junior Fair entry system. When you have located that site, you will sign in using your 4-H Online log in information – your email and password. https://fairentry.com
2. This system is for livestock only. All other projects are automatically entered when the child enrolls in the project.
3. Families enter themselves – advisors do not enter for you. Advisors will submit project grades to the Extension Office through club rosters.
4. You will enter through your 4-H Online account – if in multiple clubs be sure to use the correct club for the animal you are entering.
Here is a link to a video that shows an overview of the entry process.
We have had several families successfully complete their entries already! But with anything new, I promise you there will be glitches as we work through this first year. I have tried to set things up in what I thought to be a logical entry system and ask for only pertinent information. We will work through the issues when they arise. Please ask questions, share suggestions!
